Wedding Inspiration

Styled shoot in the stunning Scenic Rim, Queensland. Wedding inspiration for couples planning their modern, country luxe weddings in the Scenic Rim, Gold Coast, Brisbane & Beyond.

I recently had the privilege of collaborating with an incredibly talented team of creatives, as we joined forces, combined our abilities and created this ‘Inspired Tuscan Romance’ styled shoot at the stunning Sarabah Estate Vineyard, a quaint hidden gem in the Scenic Rim. With minimalist styling, a muted colour palette, billowing silks and beautiful textures, this concept truly provided effortless elegance and inspiration for an intimate country luxe wedding.

It’s so incredible to be able to see the unique talents of creatives in the wedding industry, and this team certainly brought the talent! There was so much thought and intentionality behind every little detail, and it was clear that each supplier was truly so passionate about their craft.

The images were captured by Steve from Glass Slipper Photography. He captured the details so perfectly and thoughtfully. As part of the shoot, each of the suppliers also got a few profile shots taken! It’s so wonderful to be able to have some behind-the-scenes images to share.

Inspiration for the Flowers

The modern-meets-vintage concept was brought alive through the use of the delicate and timeless beauty of dried flowers, mixed with the romantic yet fleeting elegance of fresh florals. I was inspired to feature the warm beige and golden tones that peeked through the dried elements along with the feminine soft blush and toffee tones, all working in harmony to create a softly muted and dusty palette which said so much, without saying much at all. I refrained from using traditional greens throughout the use of foliage, in the effort to create a uniquely modern and ethereal effect, and instead showcased various textures, dried ferns and deep burgundy foliage. The use of texture is one of my most adored aspects of floral design, so I was delighted to incorporate so many unique and textural elements, including the twisted willow to echo the surrounds of the vineyard that the photoshoot was held at.

The photoshoot was featured on Scenic Rim Bride, and each supplier shared their own few words about the part they played. To read the full write-up as featured on Scenic Rim Bride, click here.
